According to The Associated Press, at least nine are dead and 50 injured - 25 seriously - after a Turkish plane crashed while trying to land at Schiphol Airport in The Netherlands.
The Turkish Airlines Boeing 737-800, carrying 127 passengers and seven crew members according to the airline, broke into three pieces on impact in a field near Schiphol Airport at 10:40 a.m.
The injured include crew and passengers, according to acting Mayor Michel Bezuijen, who added that it was too early to determine the cause of the crash.
