50-1 favorite takes Kentucky Derby

Mine that Bird, a 50-1 longshot, to win the 135th Kentucky Derby won the race at Churchill Downs on Sunday.

After the race, jockey Calvin Borel shouted "50-to-1 ... It's all in the head."

Borel and his horse finished with a 6 3/4-lead over the second-place horse, Pioneer of the Nile - who was a 4-1 pick. The show horse was Musket Man, who was at 20-1 odds.

Borel and Mine That Bird got up the middle of the pack in the final stretch for the win.
